Programmed Investigation Unit (PIU) PIU is a nurse-led day unit with five beds and nine chairs which is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm.

Ward 26 is on floor one in our Peter Smith Surgery Centre has 30 single bedded rooms with en-suite facilities providing a first class environment for patients, visitors and staff. We provide elective (planned) orthopaedic surgery, mainly joint replacements.
