Tech City today announces a scheme to help attract top global talent across Tech Nation, into the UK. The Tech Nation Visa Scheme (Tier 1, Exceptional Tech Talent), an evolution of the dedicated route for helping businesses operating within the digital technology sector to attract and secure world-class talent from outside the EU.
What is techtech nation?
Tech Nation is the official Home Office designated endorsing body authorised to assess endorsement applications from individuals with expertise in digital technology and who want to come to the UK under the Global Talent visa.
What is the Tech Nation visa alumni network?
The Tech Nation Visa Alumni Network is for holders of the Global Talent Visa. It is run directly by the Visa Alumni members in partnership with Tech Nation.
Who are the Tech Nation visa ambassadors?
The Tech Nation Visa Ambassadors are a select group of Alumni who act as a ‘link’ between Tech Nation, the Alumni Network and the wider tech community. As key representatives of the visa, they provide insight from their experience as former applicants and the process of applying for the Global Talent visa.
When can I apply for a Tech Nation Global Talent Visa?
Whilst the formal allocation of visas to Tech Nation runs between April to April each year, there is no formal open or close date regarding visa applications for the Global Talent visa, and furthermore there is no limit or any other restriction on the number of visas available per year for this route.
