No. Fibrocystic breast changes aren’t harmful. And your chances of getting cancer don’t increase because you have them. But it can make it tricky to feel for new lumps or changes in your breasts when you do self-exams.
How are breast fibroids treated?

- Over-the-counter pain relievers, such as acetaminophen (Tylenol, others) or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB, others) or prescription medication.

Can fibroadenomas turn into breast cancer?
